January 2013 CCU Meeting

Join us for the first CUNY Contingents Unite of the year, which will be held this Friday.

When: Friday, January 25, 4:00 p.m-5:30 p.m.
Where: CUNY Graduate Center, Room 5489. 

We will be talking about organizing plans for the new semester, as well as other subjects of concern to adjuncts, GTFs, TAs, HEOs, Continuing Ed teachers and other contingent employees. 

Among the topics facing us are:

– The still unresolved “adjunct healthcare crisis,” and the CCU’s take on this topic;

– The fight against mass “non-reappointments” in the Hunter Psychology Department;

– Solidarity with NYC school bus drivers’ strike; 

– Campaign against underpayment of TAs. 

– HEO issues.
